I bought this to monitor temperature and humidity in a chicken egg incubator. It comes complete with software to download on your computer, a high/low temperature indicator(in the form of a blinking light). The device logs it's recorded temperature anywhere from every second to every 24 hours, you get the read out when you plug it in to your computer. This device does use a specialty battery(not included) which is great for continuous use!

I got mine in eBay because this one doesn't ship to Canada. The device's functionality is absolutely excellent though slightly counter-intuitive and the software is quite acceptable. My readings via both internal sensor and external probe are as accurate as advertised. This is all around by far the best unit for the money and it is very easy to use. The user manual is in confusing Ch-English but there is a much better 3rd party manual available for free download from Esi Service Info.

I had been needing a new temperature gauge with humidity reader built in for inside the house. It is very small and discreet. It comes with the capability to mount it to the wall but can also be removed from the wall by sliding it out. This is perfect so you don't lose it! I have not had a need to mount it to my wall yet but I like that added option. It reads quickly when you wake it up from sleep mode and is easy to install the battery or plug it into the micro USB to spare the battery. It appears very accurate and has clear instructions on how to change some of the mode settings. It's also capable of installing a program on your computer to track the humidity and temperature changes. I know this is a very nice feature for many people needing to keep track and much more convenient than tracking through pen and paper. This is definitely a nice compact temperature and humidity reader. No complaints here! I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. My new born daughter is babysit at home while I'm working. I put this in the nursery and told the babysitter to turn on the heater when too cold and the humidifier when too dry. Besides, I can have a glance at the data logged to make sure my baby is in good hands. Really good for working mums. Thanks!
