Looks well built to me. Not like the ones that use heat shrink as a casing.
I bought this to use with my Tenma true RMS handheld multi-meter I bought several years ago. It works very well and seems to be accurate and senses changes in temperature quickly.
Bought four. Nice probe tip, and as a bonus armored cable extending. Mounted to a Cummins X15 to measure temperatures, durable cable was welcomed to get out of dodge before transitioning to the soft yellow stuff to the instrumentation.
Very happy with my purchase performs as expected. Just know the connector on this is considered a standard k type disconnect. My particular meter has recessed disconnect jacks for what is termed a mini k type thermocouple. It does work with my meter but it does not fully seat.
its a k-type thermocouple.. I use it on a portable measuring device and on a volt meter that has this function. It works well and seems durable enough.
