Purchased this thermocouple for my BBQ / heater meter project. Clipping it to the built-in thermometer of my Weber Smokey Mountain, this thing pulls a very accurate temperature. Tested this probe using the boiling water method and it accurately demonstrated 212 (live almost at sea level). I've had several cooks using this probe and it definitely seems like it will hold up.

The material the probe is made of kept its form and the clip made it easy to attach to the items.

The length was great, didn't have to be close to the equipment to monitor the temps. I have used it on refrigerators, ovens and HVAC, it was very useful, especially with the alligator clip.
